when did you dc start eating soup?

I tried to give some to L awhile ago but I he wasnt into it- I was going to try again...when did your DC start eating soup?

    DS eats it now but I have to feed it to him.  His favorite lunch is a grilled cheese sandwich cut into strips and then dipped into tomato soup.  Once he's finished his sandwich, I feed him the rest of the soup.  He loves it!

    Paul's been eating it for a few months. It is always a mess, but he LOVES it.

    Stella will drink pureed soups down like water. For anything else I strain out most of the broth so it's easier for her to eat.

    DD loved it around 2, but she doesn't like her foods hot, so it basically had to almost be room temp.  We went on a cruise when she was 2.25 and I remember he eating the watermelon soup with me.

    Stella has been eating it for a couple of months now and LOVES it!  Every time I ask her what she wants for lunch (or breakfast...or dinner...) she says "Moup!"  I also strain most of the broth if it's a chicken noodle/minestrone type soup but she loves tomato and butternut squash soup, too!  It's a mess so she gets stripped down to just her diaper for those meals.

    Evan has been wating it for maybe about 6 months now.  He used to just eat the "contents", but now he "drinks" the broth.  He has seen Daddy do this, so now he does.  Not the best habit to teach, but oh well....

    Haha, dd does this with cereal now after seeing me do it.  I don't think dd has ever had soup....we haven't had it much, but as the weather cools more I would give it a try for her.

    both kids love soup.  we have the straw bowls so they can drink the broth or milk with their cereal.  We got them for $.97 at walmart

    This is a great idea, I'll have to look for them when I stop there today.
