Feeling a cold coming on...

It wouldn't be strange to do hot water with honey in it in place of tea, would it?

  • Sounds yummy.

    Have you tried Airborne?

  • Not at all.  I hate tea so I just made myself hot water with lemon when I started feeling sick last week.

no, but it sounds like you need to find some better tea! i luuurve me some hot tea.

LOL!  I like my tea just fine...I was just thinking that adding honey to green tea would be really gross.  Maybe I'm wrong??

And whoever thought of lemon...I'm totally going to pick some up.  I forgot about that.

No.  I've heard some good things about it but I like to try natural remedies.  I'll keep it in mind in case my warm water w/ honey doesn't work.  Thanks.

I always put honey in my green tea! Yum :) I've done both honey and lemon in hot water too (not together LOL), and it tastes just fine :)

Hope you feel better! I'd use a neti pot a few times a day too, even if you don't "need" it to clear your nose, it helps the cold move along faster (so said my allergist).

I thought Airborne was natural, but I see the vitamins in it are synthetic.  My stepdad and DH have used it with good success.
