AW: My brother just shocked me!

I was just on the phone with my brother talking about Christmas. I mentioned how we're getting nervous because we haven't bought anything yet for anyone. 

He went on to say something about "Well, at least you don't have 2 kids to buy for like us." It stung, and I had my 30 second b!tch fest at the phone when we hung up.... but I knew he didn't mean anything by it.

No more than 5 minutes later, he sends me a text. "I want to apologize for something I said.... I by no means meant anything by that. I realized after I said it that it came out wrong." and cue the tears!  I don't think my brother has said anything like that to me before!

    ::HUGS::  I could only imagine how much that would have stung.  At least he realized what he said and apologized.

    I'm glad he quickly realized the wrong in what he said and manned up, but I'm so sorry that he upset you.
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)

    I'm sorry you had to hear that - but *high five* to your brother for realizing his mistake and owning up to it.  Thats really great.

    I'm sorry that your brother said that to you. But I'm also glad he realized it and apologized. It's always nice to know when someone realizes their mistake and owns up.
