I know there have been posts before about this so please excuse the repeat, but if anyone has tips for using the Sonoline B Doppler, I'd greatly appreciate it. I tried Tuesday without success and want to give it another go today.
I would love to hear this too. I have been trying, but I only get a heart rate around 120s which everyone says is probably arteries. I am not 100% sure that is the case cuz at my first ultrasound, heart rate was normal at 121 and with my other pregnancies, the heart rates were always 120-140. But I would love tips to see if I can find anything else.
My best tip would be to watch some videos on Youtube. They will give you a good idea of what you are listening for. I am almost 12 weeks and it is really hit or miss if I find LO, so don't be surprised if you are still too early.
This. Also, keep in mind that in the early weeks, the Doppler has to be in just the right position and angle, so it can take quite a bit of practice and time. I feel like a bit of a pro after using it throughout my whole first pregnancy and have had days where I have had to stop trying and wait an hour or so to try again. You will get it eventually and it's the best sound ever!

This exactly. I found one that had a woman with a similar built and was 10 weeks so far enough to hear but the baby still low enough to see where I should be looking (this was when I was 8 weeks). Once I figured out how low I should be looking, much lower than you would think I found it. In the past two weeks it has def moved up and it's getting easier to find. When you hear that chugga chugga choo choo sound you will know you are in the right place. The ateries are more of a swoosh and your heartbeat it a lot slower.

I just tried again with these tips and I found it! It was much lower than I thought it would be and than any you tube video showed. Also, I was not hungry - I realize other times, my stomach was growling so much and I was hearing a lot of that.
