please read! radiating back and neck pain

in 3rd Trimester
I am 31w4d pregnant with IC. Cerclage placed at 20w1d. Have had mix of Hospital bed rest and strict bedrest at home. I am now have excrutiating back pain the radiates up to my neck and feels paralyzing for about 25 seconds. No pain in uterus or abdomen. Is this normal, I feel like its not, but this is also my first pregnancy,

    I dont want to scare you but I would call the doctors .   I had really bad back pain that would come and go and would go from side to side when i was in labor with DD.  I would call and check in with them just to be safe The neck pain I have no idea about .

    You should call your OB.  With your increased risk of preterm labor, it just doesn't make sense to wait.  If they think it's nothing then the reassurance will decrease your stress levels and make the pain easier to tolerate.  If they think it's something and want you to come in - better now than at 2am.
