We have yet to really put our son in shoes. We had some summer sandles for him but he walked really funny in them and we tended to forget them every time we left the house anyway. But now it's going to become cooler and we want his feet to stay dry and cut- and fungus-free so we need some toddler shoes.
What is up with the selection of boy shoes?!?! The girl section is about 4 aisles with multiples colors and styles (sandles, boots, mary janes, athletic) whereas the boy section has 5-6 pair to choose from. And I always think they look way too bulky and stiff.
I love the look and comfort factor of Robeez but they are so expensive. If I can get them on sale, are they worth it? I know there may be a growth spurt but he's a pretty slow grower so I think I'd get the entire fall and winter out of one or two pair.
Where do you buy your toddler's shoes? I've looked mostly at Target/Meijer type stores and haven't liked the minimal selection they have.

DS wears stride rite and I love them, they hold up great even after washing a few times. I like that they have Wide for ds little fat feet. I usually order them online at the cheapest place I can find them.
