WTF was that? I don't normally watch this crap show, but we didn't change the channel after Grey's. 

They showed a retrieval happen at a clinic appointment. They knock her out in the ultrasound chair.

The eggs are fertilized via ICSI in a lab that looks like a living room.

They made it look so easy and natural. Like "oh, she's doing IVF, no biggie."

And the whole freaking thing made me so damn mad. Anybody else watch this crap tonight?

    I don't watch the show but, it sounds like it would have pissed me off! It's not easy, it's not fast and it's super emotional!

    I haven't watched this episode.. but yeah. Private Practice pulls these stunts ALL.THE.TIME. 

    There was one where the lady walked into the clinic and "happened to be ovulating". And guess what - they did an ER right there and then. Magical. If only it could be that easy.

    Oh you should have seen her behavior on hormones, Shonda has no idea how to wrote Private Practice, this show drives me crazy, but we still watch. I wish they would just put Addison back on Grey's.

    This is exactly why I don't watch medical shows, for the most part.  The are ALL nuts, and soooo not true to life.

    I esp loved the fact he shoved stims in her pert little arse, with a 2 inch needle, and they made her instantly crazy mad and donut-craving. And don't forget, they "implanted" them. lol.

    these shows supposidly hire "med consults" to make sure their info is correct. (this all started when ER, years ago, were shouting orders like "I need 100 mg of lorazapam sub-q, stat!" , which is really funny if you know what that is) WHO DID THEY HIRE?  chit, stop by here and run the script by us 1st, FFS.

    I forgot that they said they were implanting the eggs at her transfer. I screamed so loud I almost woke up my neighbors. Gah!
