Do you strap them in to their stroller?

Do you all strap your LOs in to their stollers? It never dawned on me that this was a necessity until someone on here made a comment about it.

We have the Uppababy and she seems so snuggled in there that I never thought it was a real safety issue to not use the straps. She hates being buckled in to her car seat so I didn't reallly want to recreate that feel in her stroller.

We didn't when he was really little and not moving much and laying flat, but now we do all the time.

Absolutely!! My cousin is a police officer and he has seen about 1/2 a dozen times when someone was struck by a car walking their child in a stroller - once with a baby that was not strapped in.....think about it (not a lovely thought).

This is why we strap him in if we're in a parking lot or on the road. 99% of the time, when I have D in the stroller, we're on a secluded bike path with high visibility, completely inaccessible to motorized vehicles. I don't strap him in there, because he hates being strapped in to the infant seat.

He's not quite big enough to sit in the forward-facing jogging stroller I have, but the one time I had to use it in a pinch, I did strap him, even though it was fully reclined.

100% yes. You never know if you are going to hit a groove in the path and yank the stroller, or worse...

We have the UBV also and yes, I strap him in.

I always have. If I'm walking my bigger dog he pulls hard and if he catches me off guard and the stroller gets jerked I wouldn't want M to get jostled.
