31 weeks 3 days, cerclage, INSANE pressure

Ive had a cerglage since being diagnosed with IC at 20 weeks 1 day. Spent two weeks on hospital bedrest and 9 weeks at home on strict BR. I have no cervix left and baby is being held in by a thread, literally. The doctors are shocked everyweek at my apt that my water hasnt broke. I feel great, baby moves alot and is growing but lately i have this INTENSE pressure down there, that makes me cry. I have a HUGE pain tolerance, but this pain is insane, like ym cervix is being ripped out. I mentioned to Doc and he kinda jsut brushed it off as normal, but I feel like my ninja child id ripping my cerclage out and twisting my insides... anybody else feel like this or is my DR just blowing it off on me?

That sounds excruciating, I'd ask your doc to check out what's going on down there. Sorry :(

Are you still on strict BR? I would keep the pressure off as much as you can by laying down, this helps me and I've got two large babies and one kicking my cerclage. Your baby is likely very low, which is why you are in so much pain. Sounds awful. Do they have a plan for you? You Drs. attitude does seem odd. Hang in there.

So sorry you are going through this! Sounds awful! My Doctor said that you will have spotting/bleeding if the Cerclage is ripping...have you had any? If so I would make sure your Doctor took it more seriously and did an internal. My Cerclage "detatched", because I had so little cervix left and I didn't feel a thing, they couldn't even tell in an ultrasound and only found out because my Doctor did an internal. This happened to me at 30 wks as well...T&P
