F/U to Bad Mommy (UPS/rain gear)

So UPS never delivered on Friday... I left work, went to pick up DS at day care and drove back to work (there was an event that evening - pumpkin carving - so the place was open late), and still nothing. At about 9 pm I see online that delivery has been rescheduled for Monday 10/31. That's no help to me as the event we were going to and needed the rain gear for was on Saturday 10/29.

Well, the event was cancelled anyway. Boo, because it meant I missed my last opportunity to see my sister play college field hockey, but well, a freak Nor'easter is a passable excuse. Since the package hadn't arrived, I went to Kohl's on Sat morning to try to get a snow suit (which I did manage to find), but heard after I bought it that the game was cancelled for the day.

Turns out I didn't get the package until Tuesday, because on Monday (and Tuesday) we were closed due to power outages from the storm, so I had to ask UPS to hold it for me and I went to pick it up. And then, wouldn't you know it, the rain coat is too big but the shoes too small. GAH!!!

What a fiasco!
