I know Target gets a lot of hate on here, so I wanted to share with you my experience. My shower was a few days ago and I went on Sunday to return some things - all duplicates - some with gift receipts, some without. I had zero problem returning anything. In fact, aside from those few weeks a couple of months ago when they were redesigning the website, I've had no issues. So, target's not all bad!

I agree, I did not have any issues returning anything. I only registered there, because I heard BRU could be hard to deal with.

I'm wondering if it is a state by state thing or certain items? I'm in CA and when I went to do a return for a gift that didn't have a receipt they told me I couldn't return it for merchandise credit even because it was over their maximum $50 a year per person policy. The only thing I would be allowed to do is exchange it within the same section of merchandise. The only thing I can think of is that the items I were returning were quasi-seasonal and baby items wouldn't be?
I think I'm going to wander over to customer service to get this clarified now!
