    But, are you sure you're pronouncing Lachlan correctly? I can't imagine Lake would be a NN for Lachlan, unless you pronounced it wrong. It isn't pronounced like LAKE, but LOCK.

    Well, as you may be able to tell from my siggy, I love Lachlan :) But I agree with others that the nn Lake doesn't make much sense. Even if loch does mean lake, I'm not sure I'd want to actually call him that. We're not giving our LO a nn... Personally I just don't think Lachlan needs one.
