Nurse Midwifes in Tacoma, WA

Hi so I just found out that I'm pregnant!! And now I looking for a midwife in Tacoma. I have Group Health Option and have narrowed it done to 3 within Group Health: Sandra Kay Gerling, Susan N. Hodgson, and Linda M. Shewy. I was wondering if there is anyone on here that has had/ has any of the CNM's and if so what they think of them. Thanks so much!

    I don't have any recs (and don't have group health, so i wouldn't know anyway), but i am in Tacoma, so i thought i'd wave hello :)

    I'm also in Tacoma, although I have no experience with any of your choices I have several friends that were very happpy with their Group Health Midwives so you should be in good hands.

    You will see all the CNMs in the office throughout your pregnancy.  You may be "assigned" to a primary however you see everyone.  Whoever is on-call when you go into labor will deliver your baby - you don't get to choose.  That being said, Linda delivered DS1 and she was fabulous!
