Please critique our new list for this little guy. MH only likes 'out there' names, so this has been quite the challenge. Thanks!
Auden (DH won't let me use Austin, so this is somewhat of a compromise)
Bodie (sounds like beau-dy)
Lachlan (nn Lake)
Lake
Rhys
ETA: Thanks for the honest opinions. Like I said, this is a challenge for us. Ugh.
Re: New Boy Name List
Rhys is the only name that I can get behind . I've never heard of Auden or Bodie before and Lachlan is a last name, and I don't see Lake as a nn for it.
How about River or Reid?

ummmm, no. sorry i don't like any of them.
Auden kinda sounds like Austin with a lisp
Bodie reminds me of Booty
Lachlan- like a pp said is a ln
Lake just doesn't sound like a fn to me
Rhys- while i know some like it, just seems like it's missing some letters to me. like it's unfinished.
I hate them all (except Rhys). Really, seriously, hate them. Especially Bodie, goodness gracious, I cannot stand that name. I just hate the sounds of them--and a lake is a body of water, not a name!
Rhys is quite cute, though. Go with that.
These are all horrible.
Lake? Are you f'ing serious?
I like Rhys. Lachlan is okay with the nickname Locke but Lake sounds too feminine.
Auden also sounds feminine. Bodie sounds juvenile; I cannot imagine it aging well.
Auden - I like it, but not for a boy.
Bodie - Not my favorite, but it's okay.
Lachlan - I really like this name. I think it's handsome, but I don't like the nickname Lake.
Lake - Don't like it at all.
Rhys - I really like this name.
My favorites are Lachlan & Rhys.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

Rhys is one of my favorite boy names ever, so that gets my vote. I like Lachlan, I actually know a very good looking Lachlan in his 30's. I am a fan of Lake, but I see it as only a girl name and it absolutely does not derive from Lachlan, it's trying too hard.
Bodie is so horrible I can't even put into words why. I honestly can only picture a stereotypical redneck dumb jock with this name. Yuck. Auden is pretty bad too, but not as a bad as Bodies...They both just sound really ugly, I'm sorry.
This.

Perhaps.... Reid, Grady, Weston, or Tanner would be your style. I just don't like those. Sorry
I really only like Rhys. Auden looks made up to me, Bodie reminds me of body (like a dead body), Lachlan makes me think of a leprechaun, Lake NMS.
Bodie - sounds like Brody
I am a teacher some interesting names I have come across that might be your style is:
Lathan (Nathan but with a L )
Kiren (long i)
Caven (short a)
Kolden (like I have a cold)
October
Tennessee
These are totally not my style but might be yours.
I kinda like Auden! Rhys is ok. I like Lachlan too but the nn Lake doesnt make sense. What about calling him "Lock/Lach"? I dont like Bodie or Lake at all.
What about Alton?
My furchildren, Dorothy and Johnny
i don't like any of your options.
i guess rhys is okay.
I really like Lachlan, not a fan of Lake as a nn.
Rhys is nice
Auden: I'm indifferent
Bodie is not good.
I like Rhys and Lachlan.
I'm not sure why people are slamming Lachlan, it's a traditional Irish name...
