Please recommend a pack n play

Hi! I am starting registry and we will be using pnp instead of bassinet as well as the other benefits. I am leaning towards the pnp Capri however have read mixed reviews on the changing table slanting. Anyone have any pnp model recommendations or have feedback who own the Capri model? Tia!!

My only advice is not to get too many bells and whistles b/c you won't use them for long and then they just take up precious storage space. Ours is an older Graco Model- Bermuda:

Sorry its so small... anyway, I like it b/c everything folds up into the bag when not in use. MIL bought one w/ all the extras and barely used any of them and now they are just taking up space in her closet. Just something to keep in mind.

Simple is good...we got one with the changing table and found it just got in the way, we never used it, his nursery was next to our bedroom so it was just as easy to take him in there to change him. It might be helpful if the nursery is on a different floor.

Also don't get one of the ones with the rounded basinet part like this:

Its somewhat difficult to get the mattress part out to change the sheets, and when they are newborn you will change sheets quite a bit.

The Gracco had good reviews in Baby Bargains, and we're planning to get this one below (and love the Amazon price!). No expereince here yet, but my friends also agreed the extras weren't worth it. Baby Bargains also says the newborn nappers can increase the risk of SIDS, so we're skipping that. Good luck!

We have this Graco PNP and it works really well. The raised changer is easier on your back and it's very sturdy. We never had any problems with it tipping, even when DS was 17 lbs. We used the bassinet attachment exclusively for the first 4.5 months and I never had an issue getting the mattress in and out. It's extremely easy so I'm not sure what a PP was complaining about. It takes maybe a minute to change the sheet. The bassinet will fit in the storage bag too and I can take down or set up the whole thing in about 2 minutes.

It is very easy to put up and take down. We never used the changing station on it as we used it exclusively for travel and never took that part with us.

I highly recommend testing out setting up and taking down whichever one you are going to buy. Some of them are a lot more user friendly than others!

We have this Pack 'n Play and love it. We used the changing station for a long time. And use it for travel sleep now.

I have this one and I really do like it. I did use thr changer for a few weeks but it really does tip badly. The bigger ur LO is the worse it tips. I rolled up some blankets and used them as supports so it wouldn't tip so bad but now I took that part off. My LO still sleeps in there every night. I did just buy another one for MILs house so she has one when I go back to work. I bought the pippin pack n play. It's simple and gender neutral so I can use it for the next baby too.

We have the GoCrib and LOVE how portable it is. We traveled cross-country with it and found it easy to use, light and perfect for DS. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I honestly do not think it matters what kind you get unless you travel a whole lot and are looking for compactness, etc... we just have a Graco one I picked based on the pattern I liked and it has served us just fine. We used it primarily as a changing station downstairs for first 5 or 6 months until I took changer off. I rarely used it for napping since our house is pretty small and we have a video monitor, we always nap in crib (and in FP RNP sleep for first few months). I never used the newborn napper. I think if you are using yours primarily as a crib/bassinet, you are fine with any type,
