    I usually give her 1-2 tsps right after bedtime snack, and then 1 tsp as she's laying down to sleep (not great for teeth, but when she has a bad cough at night I don't worry).

    DS had a pretty nasty cough this week and I would give him a spoonful of honey when his coughing was at its worse and right before bed. A spoonful being a small kid's spoon... less than a teaspoon.
