PSA/Vent: The word "literally"

It drives me nuts when ppl misuse the word, "literally." No, it isn't "literally raining cats and dogs." I just saw a post on another board where someone wrote that she and dh "literally crapped their pants." I was thinking, "Wow, you and your husband defecated in your pants!" Many many people do this. The Kardashians are the worst offenders.

    This is Rachel Zoe's favorite word.  You'd hate watching her show because she says literally in every other sentence.

    LOL as a person who grew up having English only as a second language, I did wonder about some people's grammars and word usage. I'm talking about the American-born/raised ones!

    Rob Lowe's character is literally one of my favorites on TV! He's who I thought of when I read this post too. :)
