The last week my DD has been eating SOOOOOOOO little.!
Today for example:
515AM- 4oz
9AM- 1.5oz
noon- 2oz
4PM- 3oz
630pm- 1oz
845pm (bed)- 2oz
She is 12 pounds and had her 4 month appt yesterday and said he is happy and healthy. She is getting her 2 bottom teeth, you can feel them, so I am hoping that is the issue?
Any help?!
Re: Feeding strike?
My daughter slowed down around 4 months as well, but I can't say for certain since we EBF. I chalked it up to teething and the fact that she isn't hitting as many growth spurts now.
If she doesn't seem hungry, and the pediatrician said her weight gain was good, then I see no reason to worry about it.
This ... My LO was taking less formula for about a week or two and I then realized that he was getting distracted. So, I either feed him at the dinner table where there is less noises and distractions or I turn off the tv. Like she said, avoid eye contact lol because I too would get milk smiles lol ... and he'd stop drinking at all and start "talking" to me lol .... Oh, and to help him get back on track, I put my fingers on his cheeks ... I do not know why it works but it does ... he drinks lol ...
