Baby shower and birth this week...

  I hate to be a downer, but that's how I've been feeling lately.  Yesterday afternoon, I get a picture message of my 20 y/o cousin's son.  I'm bitter about it, I know, but I seriously can't help it.  At the shower, my grandma was all crying because it's her first great-grandchild, never mind that I should have a 2 month old right now Sad

   Then, Sunday, my SIL has her baby shower (got KU a cycle or two after stopping BCP, lives with her in-laws and has no job).  I was not asked to help with this shower or my other SILs shower (a couple of weeks ago).  My MIL calls me on Monday and asked if I can please buy a veggie tray because other pg SIL isn't feeling well, because she is pregnant.  Sure.  I'll help now.  Not to mention, since BOTH of them announced their pregnancies @5 weeks, I've barely talked to them or seen them since (we used to get together or talk at least every week or so.)

   It doesn't help that last week my CD 12 u/s showed I was about to O from my right, partially blocked side so there's little to no hope for this cycle. 

   Thanks for listening to/ reading my vent.  I seriously have nobody in my life who understands that wouldn't think I was a b!tch.  Love you girls!

    O love there is no reason to apologize. Vent away! We have all been there and thats why we are here.  DH's cousins wife is KU. They were dating for 4 months when they found out she was pregnant and got married quickly because of it.  There living with DH's uncle and both have crappy jobs with no health benefits.  Her shower is in early December and I already told DH I am not going and he is 100% supportive of that.  I'll just be "sick" or working that day.   You have to do what is best for you.  Everyone else will deal! ((HUGS))

    BFP#1 on 09/29/09 and EP discovered/Left Tube lost on 10/19/09 EDD 06/12/10
    BFP# 2 on 03/21/2010 EDD 11/30/10 Natural M/C on 3/27/10
    BFP# 3 on 02/14/2011 EDD 10/28/11 Missed M/C discovered 4/19/11 and D&C 4/21/11 On 5/6/11 we found out our Oct Angel was a beautiful little girl <3
    IVF#1=BFP#4 on 8/31/11 EDD 5/12/12 EP discovered and MTX shot given 9/14/ & 9/21 M/C on 10/9/11
    IVF#2 and Stims started 12/2 ER 12/16 ET 12/21 transferred two beautiful blastocysts. Please stick LO's! BFP 12/26

    Oh honey, I'm so sorry.  It's just not fair.  Nice of them to only ask you now that a pregnancy is inconviencing her :(  Sigh, I know what you mean about no one IRL understanding. 

    BTW - what part of ohio are you in?  Sorry if you already told me this.  I was thinking cbus but couldn't remember.  Confused

    I think that was the biggest slap in the face, being asked only after my pg SIL said she didn't feel well... a week in advance Huh?

    No, I didn't tell you where in Ohio!  I live in NE Ohio, about an hour from Cleveland and Akron.  Are you from Ohio??

    Ugg... seems to work out so easily for some, doesn't it?!  I considered not going to either shower (I actually wasn't even personally invited, I found out through the church bulletin) but I know DH would be upset with me (it's his sister and his brother's wife)

    Yeah I totally agree!  That's a complete slap in the face.  People can be so insensitive sometimes!!  

    So I'm not losing my mind then?  LOL.  Yes - I'm in SW OH though. Bummer!   I was thinking if we were close maybe we could meet up!

    SW Ohio is not too far but not close either. My husband's grandparents live in SW Ohio, in Piqua, which is about. 3.5 hour drive from here! Maybe someday!

    Piqua isn't too terribly far from me.  I'm between Dayton & Cinci.  Maybe someday indeed!

    Thank you Smile I sure hope so too. I've kind of gotten to this place where I'm really debating taking a break. Not TTA, but not actively TTC (charting and treatments). Every time I think about it I feel crazy, so who knows!

    ((hugs)) I haven't been to a baby shower since I lost my twins. I will send a gift, but can't bring myself to go. Most of my family doesn't understand so usually I just say I can't get off work.

    Feel free to vent to us anytime. You have every right to be sad and a little upset about your SILs. I also appreciate having everyone here who understands without thinking I'm too b!itchy. Sending ((hugs)).

    (((HUGS))) That's a lot to deal with. I hope the shower wasn't too horrible.

    I am sorry that you had to deal with this.  It is not fair of them to put things on you. Sometimes I feel like pople do not understand how hard it is to emotionally deal with a loss.  BIG ((HUGS))

    (((hugs)))  Please feel free to vent anytime.  I am sorry that you had to deal with that - how difficult.  I know I was going crazy at DH's aunt's b-day party a couple weeks ago with all the little kids and babies.  It was just so hard to know that I should have a baby too - 3 times over (or be pregnant right now).  It just sucks.
