Just got an email - I'm crying of course. Here is the email from HEmery.

He's here! He's beautiful! He's a 1 pound and 14 ounces. We don't know the length yet but his fight just started. We are so excited and I got to hold him. I got him out in one and a half pushes and was so determined that they told me to slow it down. He cried a little cry and went back to the position he loved in the womb; cross legged with his hands by his face. He cried when the NICU team were working on him. I really believe he's going to be okay. Thoughts and prayers for the fight ahead.

She is being so positive and I can't even imagine what she is going through but I love her strength!

Wow!!!! He is HUGE for 25 weeks! Congrats HEmery and family!! I am so proud of you, I am crying at my desk. I can't wait to get the next update....but nearly 2 lbs is GREAT!!

She's got to stay positive for that sweet little guy.

I'm so thankful they were able to give him steroids for his lungs while she was in labor. That should help a lot.

Got teary eyed and goose bumps before I was halfway done reading her email. She sounds amazing, and if her strength is any indication, I would say she has a fighter on her hands

I'm so glad to hear that they're doing OK. Our first Feb. baby is here and even though we didn't expect to see the first February baby so soon, I'm glad that they seem to be doing well. We're all thinking of them and praying for them.

She is so amazing! What a beautiful moment she had with him before going to the NICU. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family and that beautiful baby boy! Cash bounces around every time we talk about Walker in my house.

I'm so glad he seems to be doing well. And HEmery is as positive as ever! Love it! Prayers are with all of them. Medicine is amazing these days, and it sounds like he's in a great hospital in Houston (no matter which hospital he's in) so I'm glad he's got a good team around him.
