I guess the question is when do you feel like crap? When is a good time to say, sorry, done working, going to put my feet up.
Someone said 35 weeks. Then?
I felt great up until I delivered at 39 weeks and worked a full day the day before my water broke. I think just waiting to see how you feel towards the end is your best indication.
I worked up until the day before L was born. I had plans to be at work that day too, until the Dr told me I was having a c/s that afternoon. 39 weeks on my feet in a pretty physically and mentally challenging job.
I would have gone NUTS sitting at home.
Back to the op though, I thought your mom quit her job, how are you going to work for her? (Maybe I'm crazy, but I remember reading that)
Little Man (4 years old---holy cow) He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be. He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.

LOL she owns the deli. She's almost 80 though, so she's going to stop going in everyday. I'm sure the staff will be thrilled.

Late to the post, but I worked til about 38 weeks. I took 12-14 weeks off work.
I was adamant that I did not want to go into labor at work. I also had swollen ankles, and the OB was worried about pre-e for a bit.
I got a little bored, but did not miss waddling around work. Towards the end, E's head was so low, and I felt as though he was going to fall out.
