Benadryl and your toddler experience
M is fighting a little virus and the pedi gave us an amount of benadryl to give her. I thought it would make her sleepy. Instead it is like someone gave her a puppy and a shot of espresso. Is this normal?

Suck! I've seen it happen to kids on planes. Which is a damn good reason NOT to try to sedate your kid with antihistamines for a flight. And history is no assurance either. The next time you give it, it may make them sleepy. or it may always make your kid sleepy except that ONE TIME.
For us, he gets sleepy the first few times he has it then he gets riled up :
