What is a name you love that your SO hates?

Mine is Rocco (w/mn Anthony). I have really grown to love it and would probably use it for #2, but DH thinks Rocco is awful.

    My SO only hates one name I've come up with... I love the name Algernon from The Importance of Being Earnest (not from that Flowers for Algernon garbage). I love the character in the play and if my boy turned out half so clever and witty I'd be tickled pink. I'd call him Algy and everything.

    To my husband it's an 'over my dead body' proposition.  He's probably right in all fairness- my son would probably have to learn to fight at an early age x.x

    Fortunately, we had a girl last year. Had it been a boy, I imagine we still might be fighting over names. I really wanted Kellan for a boy.  He hates it and says that it's a stoner name. (eye roll)

    Liam.  I said if we have a boy (2nd) DH would have picked both his (Miles) and DS name (Asher), so I wanted a 3rd boy to be Liam.  He hates it. I said..just because your co-workers named their babies Liam doesn't mean that we can't...my co-workers son's name is Miles...he said...it's not that, I just think it sounds wimpy and I hate it.  Grrr.

    I love the name Rosalie Ann..DH's response was:

    Don't you think she will have a hard time spelling it?

    And, what if she just wants to be called Rose?

     I'm still working on him though. His reasons don't seem very sound. We have both agreed that we DO LIKE the name Aurora. So at least there is another name.
