This one I am probably totally gonna get in trouble for.....
I hate when people walk around the store with a kid SCREAMING at the top of their lungs and acting like it isn't even happening. I know people have to get shopping done, but if your kid can't behave in public, please find a sitter so the rest of us can shop peacefully!
THIS! And I don't care who flames me for it! Also share PP opinion on "fur babies." They are ANIMALS! This year when I went shopping for DD's Halloween costume, I saw more costumes for dogs than for babies! Argh!
Mine is that I think it's ridiculous not to get married after X years and X number of children together, especially because you're "afraid of committment". My SIL is pregnant AGAIN (Baby #3, Babydaddy #2) in an attempt to get her SO to commit. Flame away but IMO, if you have co-mingled assets, have a kid or kids together, you are as good as married so just COMMIT already! WTH difference does a piece of paper make? You're commonlaw and to my understanding, at least in this state, that means your partner gets half of your assets if you split anyway.
I agree with this, a member of DH's family won't get married to her long term boyfriend and baby daddy bc if she reports they get married or are even living together she will lose her welfare money. It makes me nuts, she lies and says he lives elsewhere so she can get $400 a month in food stamps plus almost $200 more in cash assistance. Their freezer and cupboards are overflowing with brand name stuff while DH and I clip coupons. We don't go hungry by an means but it is beyond aggravating to see them get handouts they don't even deserve.

I don't like the skull and cross bones stuff either. I make it a point not to buy anything like that, but then I accidentally got a shirt online that had it for my son (technically, it is an outline of the shape, not an actual skull, whateves!) oops! hehe. I still let him wear it, but won't be purposefully buying anything else!
I think the idea of the slip on diapers are kind of dumb too, but I don't think it will confuse the kid. Truthfully, I think my 17 month old could care less what he craps in and doesn't pay a bit of attention. I did buy one package bc they were cheap with my coupon.
3 is not necessarily worse than 2. I think it depends on your kid. I enjoyed 3 way more than 2 with DS#1. I don't think you're automatically *doomed* :-P
I'm not a big fan of the huge bow/flower things on babies either.
Did I cover just about everything??? LOL

That's really not what it's about. At all.
Funny that you seem to know what it is all about because even the OWS protesters don't know what it is about. It is ridiculous no one knows why in the hell or what in the hell they are against and asking for a solution is laughable. The disorganization of the movement makes it a total joke, anf they sound like a bunch of toddlers throwing temper tantrums.
I really don't like the skull and cross bones stuff either. I don't like it for adults or children. It is beyond ugly and I don't understand why anyone would wear it.
I am not a fan of the big flower/bow things on babies either.
I don't understand "animal" people either. They are not children, they are animals/pets. I have several friends who do not have children but have what they call fur babies and seriously treat them as people.
I think Crocs are ugly shoes and should be taken out of the stores. I saw a family having pictures made. They were all in red shirts, khaki bottoms, and red crocs. Cute pics but the shoes ruined it.
I am really farking sick of people telling me age three is worse than two.
I posted "Oh, hello terrible twos" and I had THIRTEEN other moms post how three is so much worse. WTF go away that's not what I want to hear you jackalopes.
Sorry it sucks but it is the truth.
Even with the writhing on the floor tantrums? I'm going to go beat my head against the wall now....
3 was way better then 2 for us w/ DD1! Hang in there!
I don't get 'animal' people. And by that I mean- people that carry around their animals as accessories, people that talk constantly to their pet, people that dress their pets in clothes etc.
I don't get it. I like Fido and Scruffy as much as anyone else. But news flash people... Their animals/pets.
OMG I agree it is a pet! I have a friend who grew up on a farm and love to hear him go off about this, they did not even name their fam dogs.
SO agree. I love animals as much as the next person, but people who call their pets their "babies" get a huge side eye from me. We have some friends who are way into their dog, and refer to him as their baby, and my friend's mom is "grandma". They don't have any kids, just the dog.
lol- You all would loooooooove my neighbor. If I keep my slider glass door open (off of my kitchen) I can hear her talking to her cat. Like seriously- ALL OUT holding conversations with it- and calling it PRETTY BABY and all that jazz. I seriously eye roll EVERY time i hear her going on and on and on talking to her cat. (and this is not a 'lonely old lady')

This is all I get out of it. I'd like to understand the purpose, the goal, etc. but all I hear about is how they're causing a disturbance, making messes, etc.
I'm sick of my friends complaining that they don't have any money to fix their car, move out of their parent's house, buy a house, ect. Umm...you'd have the money to do those things if you'd quit smoking, getting Starbucks/fast food all the time, eating out and buying stuff for your hobbies. It's called budeting, saving and delayed gratification.

I agree with you on this one. Have you ever been in a Crocs store?? There is one near us and I went in it once. I had to walk straight back out of it. The chemical-y plastic-y smell was completely overwhelming! I felt so bad for the people that worked there.
I agree. Crocs look weird, smell weird, etc. BUT when you work with water all the time, they're really really nice. You can get your feet soaking wet and within a few minutes, they're dry again! No more squishy uncomfortable wet tennis shoes for the rest of your day.
Aside from this scenario, though, I don't think they should be worn.
