Whats your ideal family size?

And I know with a lot of people, this decision is sometimes a financial one, so, if money were no issue, how many kids would you have then?

DH and I already have DD, and one on the way. We will definitly try for one more, and then consider another.

If money were no object, we would easily have 6 kids.

I always said 2 or 3...now I am at 3 or 4 but 4 would be our max.

For awhile I only wanted 1, but now we're thinking 2. H would like 2 or 3, and if money weren't an issue, I'd probably go for the 3rd, but I could take it or leave it. I don't think I'd want any more than that.

Since money is unfortunately a huge object... 2 or 3. I'd prefer to have 3 but it depends on if we plan on staying in NYC.

We would love to have 3 children. But if money weren't an object I could easily see DH and I discussing 4 or maybe 5. 5 would be our max though.

3 - money or not - that is all I can handle. Even if I could afford help that would make it easier, I'd still stick with 3. I want to be able to do certain things for my kids like read them books every night, go to class parties, volunteer in their classrooms. It's really hard with 2 already, I'm glad #3 is coming along with 5 years in between.

We talked about 2-3. But I am going nuts with all of this itching. I have been on meds for itching so bad for about 3 weeks now. i dont know if i want to put my body through this again! UGH

I definetely pray for at least 2 children. If money were no issue, I'd probably have 3 children. But I have a feeling we will stop at 2. (Unless we get 2 boys. Id rather end up with 3 boys or 2 boys and a girl than stop at 2 boys Big Smile

I want 3 kids, but if money were no object maybe 4. I think my husband would like to have six, but I don't know if I want to push that many out and be pergnant that many times as this first pregnancy has been pretty tough lol! However, after 3 or 4, if I still wanted more kids, I would definitely consider adoption. There's so many kids out there that need loving homes.

We would probably have 6 if money and pregnancies and deliveries were no object. We will probably have 4. Honestly it's mostly the pregnancies and deliveries that would stop me. I'm likely to have all c-sections, and I do not like much about pregnancy and do not want to be pregnant past 33-35 range, so 4 will most likely be our max. I also want lots of reconstructive body surgery after I am done, and would like to enjoy it all for a while as well.

I think 4 would be perfect for us. There's about a 90% chance this is our last though. I don't know if we can swing sending 4 through college and pregnancy is really hard on me. I feel like I'm the worst mom right now because I'm so sick and don't feel like doing anything.

Most likely 3, but there's always that chance that we'll want more, so I'm thinking 4 is my maximum. Ideally I'd like to get them all out in a row (haha, we'll see) and be finished before I'm 35 (I've got 10 years so I'm thinking that's feasible). If for some reason I'm not able to have more than 2 or 3 myself and we want more, most likely we'll adopt (cost-permitting).

DH has always said he doesn't want the kids to outnumber the grown-ups, so he's in for two. I always wanted to have one of my own then adopt two more. We'll see how things shake out.

I am the youngest of three children and my sister has three children, so that just feels like the right family size to me. But, considering that I am having my first child at 38 I can't see having more than 2.

I think two is ideal, if we have a boy and a girl. If not, probably 3 or 4 because ideally I'd like at least one boy and one girl. I don't think I could handle more than 4 even if I was rich.

I wish I could have two of each but this could be our last. Financially it's just not possible to have a lot of kids. Also, not sure I could handle the first year over,and over, and over....
