Ski Weekend GTG?

I've been thinking, I'd love to take Jack on a "big boy and mommy" trip - I'd love to go skiing this winter.  I'd love it, but my husband HATES cold weather.  He'd be miserable.  Jack is so coordinated and athletic, I think he'd have a blast on the bunny slope with me for a couple of days.  Or a place that has tubing too.  And a heated outdoor swimming pool.  And cocoa.  We'd have a great time!

He's 3.  Am I a moron?

Anybody else want to go?  If there were other moms as stupid as me going too, it might be fun!

    I don't think you're a moron.  Mine's too young still but we're taking him as soon as possible!  If I were your husband I would love to sit by the fire reading for hours while you were out romping in the snow.  The downside of skiing is that you don't get enough lodge and/or fire time!

    Not too early.  I know my cousins started ski school at age 3.  We'll likely start skiing around that age.

    That would be a blast!!  I don't know if Dylan would want to try skiing yet - he's sometimes a little apprehensive, but I'd still be game!
