Please give me birthday present ideas for a 4 yr old boy for around 20 bucks. We have three parties for boys in the next two weeks. It's getting expensive.....I'm thinking a Transformer maybe. Thoughts/Ideas please. Thank you so much!!!

I agree with the pirates and dinosaurs from above. Also, you could check out the game post below. There are lots of ideas in that thread in your price range.
My DS (and his friends from school as far as I have seen) aren't into Transformers yet (thankfully). They are into pretend play, so dress-up stuff is fun (police, fire fighter, doctor , cowboy, etc.), and Spiderman is really popular.
I don't have much to add, but my nephew just gave DS his old transformers and he really likes them. He also loves games and puzzles that he can play with us: Hi Ho Cherry-o, candyland, connect 4, chutes and ladders, and guess who are some of his favorites.
Hi OU!!! The kids are adorable!!! Hudson is all about dinosaurs, pirates, Toy Story, Lightening McQueen and trains. My friend has two little boys (5 and almost 4) who are super into Star Wars. Hud hasn't seen anything Star Wars related, but he fell in love with playing with one of their light sabres.
After reading the other posts I have to second pirates, they are so huge in this house we are doing the boys room at my dad's house totally in a pirate theme. Also my boys have had zero transformer exposure so unless you know the kid is into that I'd pass.
Legos!!! My DS is very into them right now and so are his friends at school. My DS actually uses the "regular" ones, but you can do the Duplo ones too!
I also agree that anything Toy Story or Cars related would be great.
Board games too, like others suggested and craft stuff (paints, playdoh, moon dough, etc)
I agree with pirates even though I can't figure out why the fascination. We had two parties this week for 4 year old boys. I bought oth if them the Bare Naked Ladies Snack Time CD and a kids thermos (one spiderman, one cars to match their party themes/invites). Amazon is out of the CD now.
The Richard Scarry books are also a hit here (again...no clue why the fascination).
Otherwise, he's into Cars (the metal matchbox sized replicas of the characters), tractors with a trailer, slinky, and any if the Caterpillar construction equipment toys.

The boys are into trucks, trains, cars, anything that moves. They would not "get" Transformers, but maybe that's because they've never been around them.
