My Doppler came in !!!!! YAY!!!!

Ok - so after finally caving - I bought a doppler and it came in today...I even went home on my lunchbreak just to get it out of the mailbox and to try it out.  It took some practice - but I finally was able to get it working.  I did find babies heartbeat -- but I def need some more practice -- the heartbeat was ranging from  80 - 150 so I'm not quite sure I was doing it right.  Oh well - will try again another time -- atleast I heard it!

    Woo hoo!

    If it is a Sonoline B...the numbers on the screen arent always right.  I always just count the beats for 10 seconds then multiply by 6 to get an accurate number.  And make sure it is more of a horse galloping sound than a swooshing noise.  The swooshing is you :-)

    It is a sonoline B -- I will make sure to count up the beats on my own.  The manuel says that it is safe for daily use -- is this true??

    I've done some research on daily use, becuase I use mine almost daily.  There havent been any real studies, but I have heard plenty of people use it on a daily basis and everything is just fine.  I am going to continue to myself!

    Glad yours came in and I know about hte caving part and getting one.  ours came in 2 days ago.  But one little thing.  With a hb range of 80-150 that wouldnt have been the baby.  That sounds more like artery.  The blood in the artery can very that much with numbers.  When it comes to baby's hb it should be over 130.  Just remember to slowly move it.
