Baking Soda test...

I'm usually not one for these things, because most of them are ridiculous, but this one is pretty harmless.  Yes, I admit, I just did it... and it fizzed like crazy =).  The consensus so far has been Boy for us, but we won't have our a/s until around Thanksgiving!  It'll be fun to see if this and everyone else is right!

    My only question would be... what does baking soda do if you pee on it period.. you know?  Lol!  It's the least harmless of any of those silly tests I've seen, so I thought I'd just try!

    i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

    I did it a few days ago and I *think* it fizzled. I guess I expected fizzling to look different than it did, but DH said it was fizzling ha.

    Gisa- My DH peed on a pregnancy test to see if a line would come up because he didn't believe it when mine did.

    I don't think I could convince my H to pee in a cup as a "control" though!

    I tried this before, and mine did not fizz.  I feel like this would have more to do with the acidity of the foods you ate prior, but it's still fun.

    Gisa - so funny you'd say this.  My DH peed on the pregnancy test because the line was faint and he didn't believe me.  Sure enough - no line when he tried!! It was hilarious - and he made me promise I would never share with anyone we knew, lol.

    ETA - Just saw the post that PP's DH did that too.  I thought only mine was special.  I'll have to let him know he's not the only one.

    It is funny that so many husbands pee on the stick. My husband didn't.
