Riding the Pity Train (PG mentioned not mine)

Last night a friend of mine had her baby. I thought I would be okay but I wasn't. The flood gates opened and I just couldn't stop crying. I am normally one to keep my emotions in check. ( I was raised to never show weakness and crying was weakness in our house) I just cried and cried. I am truly happy for her but sad for me. I should 30 weeks or 8 weeks depending on which loss I am thinking of.

DH saw how hurt my heart was. He knows I'm still going through the latter part of this MC. He wanted to do something nice so he took me to lunch today. While we were chatting with our waitress she tells us she's 5 months pregnant and can't find a halloween costume cause everything is soooo tight. This girl was a stick and I would have never known she was pregnant if she hadn't of mentioned it. It took everything I had to keep it together. So something nice turned into another reminder of the never ending ache in my heart.

I find that I can't talk to my best friends cause their triplets and twins stories are hard to handle right now. I feel like I have no where to turn, so of course I came here. Thank you for listening. I'll do my best to get off the pity train at he next stop.

I am so so sorry. ((hugs)) Even though my loss was not that recent, I still break down occasionally. At TV shows, in front of the grocery store, in the shower. Sometimes you just need to cry. I hope tomorrow is better.

I am so sorry. It seems like the days you are trying to avoid thinking about being pregnant and babies are the days that there are babies and pregnant ladies everywhere. (((huge hugs)))

I'm so sorry. Crying is not a weakness. I like to think of it more as a necessity. I understand how it feels to hear about other peoples babies and pregnancy announcements and how much it hurts. Sending you big ((hugs)) and hoping tomorrow is better.
