I usually go bread-less and starch-less if I need to lose weight quickly. Lean protein and veggies for breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks. Drink tons of water and green tea. GL, you can do it!!!

I am not a fan of super fast weight-loss but I guess if I had to do it, this is what I'd do. Not sure about the health effects of drinking tons of green tea, but the rest won't hurt you as long as you don't go super low on calories. You might get light-headed and weak from the lack of carbs, in which case I'd eat some. Also be aware that this could affect your supply if you're BFing.
Probably not healthy and you probably won't looked at all toned if you lose so much so quick, but if you really want to, do lean protein/veg like pp suggested. I have 4 months to lose 10 lbs for when I go back to work. I'm cutting out the chips and started going to the gym again. I'm bf'ing so not cutting my calories too much.

I can't promise 15 pounds but I am doing the Dunkin Diet (modified for breast feeding) and I lost 8 pounds the first week and 3 the second week. 11 pounds in 2 weeks isn't bad and it has stayed off . My friend is doing the Dunkin Diet with me only she isn't breast feeding so she did the true ONLY protein diet (she did it for the first 9 days then alternated as described in the diet) and lost 14 pounds the first 2 weeks. You can get the basics of the diet online and most bookstores are carrying the dunkin diet book. I have lost 18 pounds on this diet so far and my friend lost 22. OH and buy the way I have tried to layer spanx, didn't turn out great. I didn't look any smaller but was a hot sweaty mess instead. Oh the things girls will do!
If you're really committed, cut out all drinks except water so you don't have those extra calories. But you'll have to be super careful about how much salt you eat too so that you're not holding onto water weight.
Limit processed foods. Eat slower, you'll probably be full before you even finish whats on your plate.
Exercise will help. Do crunches to firm up the tummy and some weights to tone up your arms. Even if you don't lose any weight, you'll look better with tone. And go for walks or runs (check out the couch to 5K program...I lost 4 pounds the first week doing that).
I don't think it's safe or healthy to lose that much weight so quickly. You can eat healthy and do something like the 30 day shred.
I agree with this. I'm seriously of the opinion that losing more than 2 lbs a week isn't healthy. That being said, lean meats, protein at every meal, no processed food, no "white" carbs--as in no white bread, rice, etc. will help.
Thats a lot of weight to lose. Honestly I see a nutritionist for weight loss and he doesn't recommend trying to do that much that fast. That being said when he starts you on a diet he cuts out wheat gluten and dairy. That means the only starches you can have are rice and potatoes. No fast food, and up the protein. You need like 105 grams of protein a day.

This! Losing weight too fast (ie more than 1-2lb per week) means you're losing 1- water weight and 2- muscle stores. Don't do it. If you're not already following a healthy diet (whole grains, lots of fruits and veggies, lean protein), start now along with exercise. You might not lose more than 5lb before your event but you'll likely feel a lot better, and feeling good/confident always looks good! GL!
I'm not an advocate of losing weight in an unhealthy manner, but The Fat Flush can give you the results you're looking for. It is very restrictive for the first stage (2 weeks), but focuses primarily on cutting out toxins during that period - salt, sugar, and alcohol. It's important to take the recommended vitamins and supplements so your body gets all of the nutrients it needs while you are following the program. And hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
The Martha's Vinyard Diet Detox. It's super, super hard, but it worked for me. And I kept it off. 23 pounds in 21 days...I think I lost 16 in the first two weeks....
