First Ultrasound in 3 hours..advice?

hey, for you ladies who have had them, any advice on what to do before? I want to find out team blue or pink but I only get ONE ultrasound, worried the baby might move to much or little?

    Don't worry...baby will do what baby does lol..When I went for my u/s last week to find out the sex, he was just chilling on his side facing me for a while, but the session lasted about 20 min and he moved around a ton in just that time...enough to see his face, legs, hands....everything! ;) good luck! it's so exciting!

    I had mine this morining. The baby was moving constantly but the technician was still able to get all the measurement and tell us that we're expecting a boy.

    My ultrasound is on Friday and I was told to drink 32 oz of water beforehand so that I would have a full bladder.  But I know different places tell you different things.  I don't know there's much you can do to make the baby move more/less - some people suggest drinking juice so that you have some sugar in your system.

    I drank OJ 30 min prior just to make sure the baby was active. A lot of times the tech can't get the measurements they need if the baby is too active, but I was dead set on finding out the sex and it worked Wink
