okay to add to registry?

this might be a silly question, but is it okay to add maybe a couple baby toys to the registry? theres one in particular i was thinking of that i saw a commercial for, the laugh and learn puppy from fisher price, which says its for babies 6-12 months.

Register for toys? Absolutely! We registered for many things that were for an older infant/toddler. It is nice to have things to pull out as your child grows. The Laugh & Learn puppy? NO!! We have it. It's very creepy. It randomly asks for hugs if you forget and leave it on. It is my least favorite toy. However even if you don't register for it you may receive one at some holiday because people think they are too cute!

I asked my DH add the toys and such..he had more fun doing that then helping pick out "practical" things. I think it helped him feel more involved. Big Smile

So I vote for adding them!

I would actually strongly recommend getting stuff for later in the year. I got a few toys and solid feeding things at showers for DD and was more than thankful to have them to just pull out when the time came.

Toys are perfectly fine. My sister suggested adding additional items other than the expensive basics since they will give another price point for folks shopping on your registry.

Most registries give you a discount after your baby shower so I always put stuff on there that I know I will buy myself just so I get the discount later.

DD got the puppy for her 1st Birthday and LOVES it! It sings songs and teaches counting and colours, she walks around the house with it all the time.

Of course you can add toys and BTW i purchased that puppy for my niece when she was a baby and she loved it so much! Thats a great toy. I so far added only about 2 toys I will add more when I find out what we are having...So go ahead and add on
