help! blood in diaper? taytee or moms in the know..

t's urine has pink in it. she had international day at school on friday--so a variety of foods. 

can we wait and see or is this urgent? as in go to the ER?

    .I would wait and see if it clears (I'm a medical person, btw). Blood in urine isn't usually pink. there may be something she ate that's reacting to the diaper. There's often something called uric acid crystals that makes the urine in the diaper turn pink

    Do you know if she ate beets?  That can certainly turn urine pink (other foods can too...just have experience with beets :)  If she doesn't have a fever or is not in pain I wouldn't think the ER is necessary.
