I saw this name and took it from this book.

I'm not sure if it would be pronounced Eve-leena or Eva-leena or if both are ok. I kind of like Eva-leena and mainly because I really like the name Lena.

Would you keep the original spelling if you wanted to pronounce it Eva-leena?

Or would you change it to something like "Evalena"?

Just looking for opinions, I'm not even pg.

I knew an Evalina in High School, she pronounced it Ev-uh-lina.

I would pronounce the second e like "eh" or "uh." The whole name sounds a little fairy-tale-ish to me, but that might be your style.

I think the traditional spelling still looks like it'd be pronounced "-lena" to me. I say don't change the spelling.

But I do think it's somewhat pretty.

Kind of makes me think of Elvira though. lol
