For all you ladies who deal with constipation... fiber is your best friend, seriously. I've been religously eating high fiber cereal every morning since before I was pg, keeps things moving. Alot of brands are really expensive, and alot taste like crap too, but I've delt with the cardboard to avoid things clogging up on the other end. (Sorry if it's TMI, I was a nurses aide, nothing grosses me out anymore)
Ok.. so here's my PSA - if you've got a sweet tooth, you need to get FiberOne Oats and Caramel chewy bars. I just tried one for the first time and I think I went to fiber heaven! Oh, and there's a coupon for them too on one of the coupon sites, either coupons.com or smartsource, I can't remember. I'm always a skeptic, but the commercials where they say "Fiber never tasted so good" are 100% correct, I can't even think of another granola bar that is this awesome.... mmm... caramel coma...
Re: Yummy! The commercials are so right...
I've never heard that... but that would make sense. Thanks!
And ya know... I have a ton of BH, especially in the afternoons, maybe a connection?

Definitely possible; most of the FiberOne bars have chicory root, which has been linked to causing contractions.
I loved FiberOne stuff pre-pregnancy, but I'm not touching it until the LO's here, just in case.

Oh my goodness I had no clue!!! I haven't eaten any FiberOne stuff before, and I just double checked all of my other high fiber foods, which don't have any chicory. Thank you for telling me this!!!!! I was seriously thinking of eating like three of those things and thank god I didn't. I will let my SO and his son devour them, and keep my paws off of it.
