Can't find any cradle bedding!

Ok that's not entirely true. I have found cradle bedding, but not it the size I need. I'll have an odd sized cradle. I think its 15x33. Not quite sure, my dad is doing the finishing touches on it and I should have it this weekend. Everything I find is 18x36 which I'm assuming is the standard size.

I also don't want to get a set cause I really just need a cradle pad and sheets, still up in the air about bumpers. I haven't seen the cradle yet but my dad has told me that the the spindles are close together so he doesn't think the baby will get her arms or legs in between them.

So where would you recommend getting cradle bedding?

  • Believe it or not, what I ended up doing was using body (or was it king size) pillowcases..  They're easier to find, put on, and wash...

  • I think cradles are mostly referred to as bassinets now...no?

  • I got my cradle sheets from BRU. I think they are the standard size, but they are so small. I had to cut the elastic to make them fit. That size may work because of how small they are.

Let me clarify.  I know there's a difference between a cradle and a bassinet, but they're similar in size, right?
