  My mom's MN is Jolene, and my dad's is Lynn, so they made mine Jolynn.

  FWIW, my name breaks all of the "rules," and I still love it. I try to keep that in mind when I think of future kiddos' names.

  My middle name is Raylin (pronounced like they are two separate names, rather then blending them). My mom got it from my great grand father's name, Raymond Lincoln.
