DS has to take snack for his class on Thursday. Here are some of my ideas
1) mini rice cakes and apple slices
2) cheese and crackers
3) apples and peanut butter or carmel, maybe a mini granola bar too
4) carrot sticks and ranch....and something else. Not sure what to put with this one.
I was also given the suggestion of pb&j cut into the shape of a pumpkin. I think this is cute and would probably put apples or carrots with it but then wondered if this was too much for a snack. I like sending two things so kids hopefully get something they like.

I love these two beautiful children!
Peanuts are ok/allowed that's why I was thinking of that kind of stuff. And the teacher is the one who said kids like to "dip" foods, but I agree its a mess. Although if I'm not cleaning it up and she doesnt care......lol
How about those packages of cracker sticks & cheese dip? They are pre-portioned, self-contained, and come with a nifty cheese 'spreader' stick thing!
