I was planning to stick with PBK like I did with Mark (and FIL's gf gets 40% off) but I'm not in love with anything in there for girls right now. I had a bumper with Mark and have decided against having one this time. It seems like all the bedding is basically focused around the bumper, and of course the quilts are useless so I'm at a loss on how to decorate.
I looked at carousel designs sight today for the first time and saw some cute stuff but the prices were high IMO. I'll probably have my mom make a crib skirt and some type of curtains and look for some wall art either to buy or have my grandma paint for me.
What sites do you like for decor/inspiration?
Re: Where did you get your nursery decor? or inspiration
Honestly I picked colors and started shopping for those colors and then found some awesome material at Joann's my made pillows and curtains.
then I stumbled on a bedding set, however, I NEVER use the bedding set!

I need to get to the fabric store and see if anything jumps out at me! I have a bedding set for Mark and while I used (and still do) the bumper I thought I'd go without this time. The quilt from his set is hanging over the back of his rocker and the bed is too low for the crib skirt now so it seems pretty pointless to get a set this time. I'm so not creative so I want to find some inspiration to build from.

we got stuff at BRU and i loved it.
don't write off the quilts--you can hang them over the side of the crib for decoration (we attached ribbons at tied the quilt to the crib slats so that the baby couldn't yank it down). we also draped a quilt over the back of the glider for decoration.
I was inspired by a mobile I fell in love with by blabla. I couldn't find any bedding that I loved that wasn't ridiculously expensive, so I just went with organic white cotton sheets and a bedskirt and kept it clean and simple.
I loved looking on etsy for artwork.
I always have our bedding and drapes made, I never like anything that is pre made. We had a designer do DD"s room- he took me to a fabric store and we found one fabric that I liked and then we built the room from there. It's actually easy once you have a direction, because then everything just has to match that first fabric.
I like Ratemyroom- I got a lot of ideas from that.
