Screeching pain like scream while sleeping

Hello girls...i have a question...its happened twice already...while LO is in a deep sleep she lets out 1 loud scream. The scream sounds like she just got hurt and is in instant pain..the screeching scream only lasted about 3 seconds and she went right back to sleep. DH and I both ran to her and make sure she was ok and she was peacefully sleeping again...it had about an hour ago and 1 time last week at 3am...are any of your LOs doing this or am I alone in this???

    Could it be night terrors, or is she too young?  How scary!

    It's happened a few times actually. We're not sure why but he's fast asleep when it happens. Once we figured out it wasn't something to worry about, it became really funny lol.

    I don't have any answers but just wanted to say that our lo did the same thing and it would terrify us!  We'd jump out of bed only to find him snoozing happily in his crib.  NO IDEA what caused it but he was always fine and dandy.  He did end up being diagnosed with reflux and food allergies, but I'm sure that had absolutely nothing to do with it, just thought it was worth mentioning!

    LO has done this a few times. One time.I happened to be walking by her room and she let out a big fart and fell right back asleep. She is a very gassy girl but now as she has gotten older it doesn't seem to hurt her anymore.

    LO has done this several times since about 2 weeks old.  It seems to always happen in the middle of the night that both DH and I nearly bolt out of bed only to see him fast asleep.

    This happens with DS all the time... at least every other day. We always say maybe he gad a bad dream, but he is always fine a couple seconds later so we've never worried about it too much!

    Stella does this as well. I've only heard it during the day and she's fast asleep. I saw her do it once and she didn't even open her eyes. We don't worry about it since she seems happy.
