AW: I Have a Take Home Baby!!! (Birth Story & PIP)

I?ll try to keep this short(ish), but reward you with lots of pictures!
I was induced Thursday night due to high BP. It was pretty much a shock and I was excited and terrified. They started me on Cytotec at about 8pm. We continued this every 4 hours ? til about 6pm on Friday (looong process). At that point I was dilated 2cm and they broke my water ? wow that?s a crazy weird (gross) feeling. Then I started on Pitocin. Because of my high BP ? I couldn?t move from the bed. So as contractions got more intense all I could do was lay ? and that was horrible. I got at epi early Saturday morning ? but it didn?t take very well. I could feel pain on my left side ? right side was numb. By 9am I had lots of pain but was about 7-8cm so I had to just push through it. Fortunately, I progressed quickly (although it seemed like a lifetime at the time). I was ready to push at about 10:45am. My BP sky rocketed during pushing (like 190/119) and we all knew I just had to get her out. I never thought I was going to be able to do it; I was in so much pain. But in less than 30 minutes, she was born! And as she came out she projectile spit up all over the doctor (face included!). So spunky already!
Lillian Kathleen was born on Saturday, 10-15-11 at 11:20am weighing 7lbs 12oz and 20 in long. She was born 3 weeks early but was perfectly healthy!
Labor and delivery was much longer and intense than I ever imagined. During most of it I kept thinking how I couldn?t do it ever again. But soon after her birth I forgot all the pain and just had such an intense amount of love for her ? so totally worth it! And I have no idea how some go completely natural ? they must be superwomen!

Leaving the hospital I was more emotional than ever ? all I could think was ?I have a take home baby!? That?s when reality really settled in ? she is ours!

I can't even tell you how precious and beautiful she is...although I'm sure I don't need to lol. My first DD was nearly the same weight, so rounded out and also had a clear and beautiful complexion, I have to admit my second DD was a bit scrawnier and all red and wrinkled lol?.still beautiful to me
your LO is absolutely adorable!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry such a scary shaky beginning, but soooo glad it turned out wonderful for you all!!! Yaaayyy for take home baby, and thank you so much for all the lovely pics!

Isn't it cool that they were born on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day? I thought that was such a special birthday for a rainbow baby to have! I know their angel siblings were watching over them as they came into the world.
