Ok so a great desire is growing in me for a more natural child birth. I have been cleared by my ob to attempt it. However all conditions must be favorable Leading up to labor. I feel like there is no halfway with this so I am going all in a's far a's getting ready. I feel I need a really good prenatal class? Any suggestions? I have a great personal trainer with a masters degree in kineslogy. However she does not have a back ground in Pg so I am debating adding a prenatal yoga class or looking for a wk out trainer or class more Pg spefic? My trainer is also into my Pg and willing to study ways to help me. I just have no idea how to direct her. When should I start looking for a doula? Oh I will be delivering at kaiser (formerly Santa teresa).
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Vbac advise
A prenatal yoga class can help, as can any movement class. If zumba speaks to you, do that, if bellydance is your thing, do that. Movement for pregnant ladies doesn't not have to be slow, and you can modify anything that is too much for you. In general, what you do want is something that gives you asymmetrical movement in the hips, which helps keep the baby out of a posterior position. I'm not sure what was the underlying cause to your c-s, so some specifics would help me narrow down what you could look for in prenatal education or movement classes,.
Now is the time to start looking for a doula if you want someone who is experienced. Many of us are already booked by the time someone is 12-14 weeks. If you want some recommendations, I'd be happy to send you some.
