Question - O day and dating the pregnancy

This may be a stupid question about dating a pregnancy, so please bear with me.  But it's really puzzling me, so I had to ask.

Ok, so I know that a pregnancy is dated from the first day of a woman's cycle (CD1). 

So let's say 2 people (person A and person B) both started their period on the same day (CD1 is the same day for both).  If person A ovulated on CD15, and person B ovulated on CD45, would they still be considered to be identical in how far along they are, and still have the same due date?  Wouldn't person A technically be further along since she conceived a whole month earlier than person B?

Sorry if that was confusing.  Hope it makes sense.

    you're right, person A would be farther along.

    person B's pg  would be measured by O date

    FF gives me a due date based on my O.  Then you can just enter this in a clicker and figure out how far along you are.  Yes the one who O'd sooner would be farther along.

    Thanks for the explanations.  That makes sense to me since person B ovulated a whole month later.  I was just confused since I've only read that a pregnancy is dated from CD1.

    Yes.

    A and B would be considered to have the same due date until the "8 week" mark, or their first doc apt. At that time, the doctor will be able to tell the difference between how far along the two are, and then re-adjust the due date. 

    However, you example is a bit inaccurate, because person A would get to 18DPO and their BFP waaay before person B even ovulated. Person B's experience would be to get their BFP, but they would "technically" already be 8 weeks, so then their doc would be like "lets see you soon" and then they would go and the doc would be able to tell that she wasn't that far along yet. and then Person B could wip out her chart and laugh in the doc's face and say "I told you so!"
