How much does ur 3 week old eat?

my lo eats just anout 4 oz every 2-3 hours during the day and closer to 4 at night, ds1 was not eating nearly this much, just seems like ALOT to me....

My 3 week old eats the same amount! I BF but when I give her BM in a bottle, she has 4 oz. She also eats every 2 to 3 hours during the day, but can go up to 4 at night. Glad to hear she's on track with another LO her age!

Yup, this sounds right on track for DS also! I also think it might be too much but I nurse him when he is hungry and he stops when he is done. Can't go wrong with that, right?!

My son is 4 weeks old, but eats the same amount as your LO and has been for at least a week. So you are not alone!

When DS2 was 3 weeks old, he was eating every 1.5-2.5 hours during the day and 3-4 hrs at night. I ebf, so I'm not sure the ounces, but he gained a pound a week for the first 8 weeks, so he must have had plenty!

Whoa- mine is not eating that much. He's almost 4 weeks old, I EP, so I know he gets about 3 oz every 2-3 hrs, sometimes he'll go 3 1/2 hrs at night. His weight was great at our last pedi appt. I hope some LOs just need less than others?
