I need some advice on diaper bags. I really want a backpack, not an over the shoulder bag. I've been using just a regular back pack as a nanny for the past several years, and find it to be so much easier than the over the shoulder type I've used in the past.
My problem is that the backpack diaper bags I have found are so plain! I think they are meant for dads, so they just make them black or khaki, and that's it. I'd love something cute, but also something functional.
I've seen the PPB boxy backpacks online, but not in person. They are cute, but they don't look like they would be super comfortable as a backpack, as they are shaped more like traditional diaper bags. Has anyone used one as a backpack? Does anyone have other suggestions as to where to find cute, backpack diaper bags?
Thanks!
Re: Petunia Pickle Bottom
the PPB backpack was my first diaper bag. I didn't like it and sold it on craigslist to be a JuJuBe BFF which I love and still use today. I didn't like the PPB because it didn't have a lot of give (it's a pretty stiff bag) and the fabric on the inside (for mine) was black so finding some stuff in there was a pita...it was like digging into a black hole!
My JuJuBe BFF is more giving, has a bit more room, the inside is not black and they have insulated pockets for milk (to keep warm or cold)...it's a really nice bag.
Thanks! Do you use it as a backpack, and is it comfortable to wear?
