Any MCPS teachers w/ disability ins. and summer delivery?

How does that work?  If I had a baby in the summer, does the disability insurance still pay me?  I would plan to take off into the fall with the FMLA (60 duty days) regardless, but I want to know if this insurance is a waste of money for a summer baby.  Thanks!

    I did have the short term disability policy, however I had a winter baby. I am not sure why they wouldn't pay you. You get paid directly from the insurance company, not MCPS. FWIW, I loved my policy and they offered to let me take it with me when I left MCPS a couple of weeks ago, but I have decided to be a temporary SAHM.

    Thank you!  I emailed my rep this morning and am waiting to hear back.  I'm just so antsy:)
