In theory, I think I like this name. But I'm not sure how to pronounce it? Where is the emphasis when you say this name?

ah-nor-UH, Ah-NORA ?

    I would have said HONOR-uh. If you are looking for an "a-NOR-uh" pronunciation, I would spell it Anora.

    THis part. I have a friend named Honora and she pronounces it Honor-uh. When we were little I thought her name was Honor Roll and I was jealous.

    Really, though, I could see pronouncing it using your options as well. I think you as a parent can define which syllable is emphasized.

    This.  I would have said ho-NORA.  And then all I could think about when reading the other posts is how is the teacher going to butcher this name in class and will she always be correcting people she meets.
