Baby Kai update

My friends baby had his heart surgery today and it went even better than expected!  The doctor was very skeptical about the chances of fixing it this morning, so they were obviously freaking out all day.  He is in recovery, but will have to remain paralyzed until he is able to breathe again on his own.  They expect him to start breathing again in the next 3-5 days and he will then be allowed to come out of his coma.  Thank you sooooo much for all of those who have been praying for this sweet little boy!  He still has a long road to recovery, but things are definitely starting to look up.

    I'm glad it all sounds positive. I will still keep Kai in my thoughts until he is breathing on his own and more recovered. Thanks for the update.

    Great news! I will keep him in my thoughts as he continues to recover, and hopefully starts breathing on his own soon.
