C's birthday party is next weekend. I plan to have chips, pretzels, dip, cheese and crackers and a veggie tray out for munchies.
Dinner is 3 soups - chili, creamy smashed potato and Italian wedding. To dress these, I have shredded cheese (Colby and parm), diced onions, tortillas, sour cream, bacon, crackers and rice. Along with that we will have a green salad and fresh bread.
Dessert is cake, maybe apple nachos and chocolate covered Oreos.
Do I need more with dinner? I mean, they are some pretty hearty soups, but would you be looking for more? Another side? What else goes with soup?
Re: One more - critique my birthday menu?
I am salivating just reading your post! I think what you have is fine.
What are apple nachos?
I saw them on Pinterest - it is slices of apples drizzled with chocolate and caramel and other yummy things. Pinterest has the best desserts!
I assume you are providing saltines (or oyster crackers) and then butter with the fresh bread?
Are you having it at your house? You're brave, with the soups.. people make a mess at my house!
